Thx...Was at the burnt spot....old guy had told me awhile ago when i first started...remove all the trash and then the goodies will make a sound...i dig everythang-chirps-single beebs-almost beeps...especially in that spot...and its paying off...only got about 5 places to dig....so i just dig it all..

Well done sir. I have adopted the "dig it all" mantra lately, with decent results.

I used to clean my silver coins, but like the "as found" patina now. It took them a long time to develop that patina, and seems a shame to wipe it away.

Who cares what "they say" You found it, you know where it came from. It's your silver to do with what you want, you worked hard digging it all up. Hell there one guy around here spends his on coffee and laughs about it, lol.
