I just bit the bullet on the Legend Pro Package. I am thinking it will be a lot better than my Garrett Ace 400. I will keep the 400 and probably give it to one of my great grand kids (two of them are interested in detecting). We will see how it all goes.

While preparing the external battery for charging, twist the 'keeper' clasp 90 degrees. Don't pull on it, use a credit card edge or better yet, a guitar pic to wedge in the mating slot while rocking the card/pic. Go around all four sides doing this. It is such a tight fit, the keeper clasp may break trying to pull/open it. Once its initially opened, it not as 'cement' closed.

Beaches and swimming areas are much easier digging and much less bending if you use a long handle scoop. The chances of finding silver and gold there are much higher and nothing more exciting than seeing a piece of gold in your scoop.
