We have had this item for a long time and have never been able to find anything on it so if anyone knows more about it please let me know what it is that we have. The stickers on both items have hand painted and as you see in the pictures it come apart and it stands 9 1/4 inches high.

The double A mark of Ardalt A, seems to have been a trademark for tableware, dishes, jars and vases registered by ARDALT Inc. Corp., 95 Madison AVE., New York and first used in 1945. On some pieces the trademark 'Lenwile' occurs which was also registered by the ARDALT Inc., in 1945, for use on figurines and statuettes. Both marks have been used on Japanese pieces. The name Ardalt occurs also on pieces from other countries.
In other words they are an American company that imported items from other countries including but not limited to Japan, shortly after WWII. IMHO- Value would be based on the decorative appeal of the piece as well as condition of course. Yours is a nice looking piece. Hope this helps.
