I got mine on ebay from bordallo corporation for $36.95 with free shipping. Shipping was fast, I'm in California and it shipped here from Florida in about 3 days. I have dealt with this company in the past when I purchased a new fisher gold bug from them. The unit was defective (or just very weak) and they refunded my money no questions asked. I got mine on eBay as well for around $35 or so and free shipping. I bought the less common "left handed" one even though I'm right handed. It just makes more sense for how I personally use it. Money well spent

Purchase mine on Ebay for around what others have mentioned. I think the last one was from New England Dectors as well. I just look for the lowest total cost and order that one. I'm on my third one...they are indestructable but I keep losing mine...lol. Maybe one day I will fiind them with my detector.
