Let a friend borrow my backup detector - here's what he found on the beach

I encouraged a friend to try beach detecting, and today was the day.

Using an Ace 250 he found his first gold diamond ring within the first hour . . . on the public beach on Venice Island.

He found a second ring a little later - at the request of a woman who had lost it in the sand.

I wish it was always this easy . . .

TALK ABOUT BEGINNERS LUCK! I am happy for your friend but.... now he will think it is a piece of cake and expect to find things like this every time he goes out. It won't happen. Well... normally it wouldn't happen but with the luck he has..... who knows? CONGRATS!

It was'nt that long ago that I found my first gold ring and I know how that feels - It is a great feeling
I'll bet he will be buying his own and chomping at the bit to go detecting again and again and again

I have recommended the Ace 250 to several people who ask about hunting just the dry sand. I have probably sold about 6 of them for Garrett this year by referral. I wish I could get a commission.

Same here DaChief. I tell everyone that wants to only hunt land or dry sand that the ACE 250 is a great beginner machine. I know of 4 people that have bought them because of me. I even bought one for my son.

that is too funny, but everytime I loan someone my ace they find something good right off the bat. Maybe I ought to borrows someones elses.

He will have a hard time topping that.
