This one's probably my favorite: 1831 Matron Head large cent, found in a farm field in my town. I love the patina, and haven't tried to clean it all.

3.3Million minted.

I found a Draped Bust Large Cent a few weeks back. There is no date but mint numbers range from 97,000 to 3.4 million between the years 1796 and 1807. Just glad to have one as they are rare to find in the midwest.

I gave it to a friend over 30 years ago, but it was a barely discernable 1793 large cent. And the only one I have ever found.

It’s not how many were minted...rather how many survived.
