Smallest points. Everyone( including me) is drawn to large stuff, but I also see the beauty in the small. Lets see em'.

I agree, I like the small stuff too. Here's a close-up of the smallest points from a collection that was given to me when I was eleven.

Here's the mine- I have lots of "small" points but this one takes the cake.

Cannonman, I guess you could call that one a "profile" cameo point. . . it's shape is perfect!

Tomsneck,I agree the birdpoints impress me the most As a person with big hands it amazes me that they can even hold on to something that size to work it.There's those darn quartz points again those things are killing me.Most of the stuff around here that I'm finding is before the bow and arrow. You take a bird point that is serated and it just dont get any better in my book.

Hey thanks Tomsneck,
These birthdays seem to come sooner each year.I was noticing that I have a match to the first point on the top row.I've been calling that material green quartzite.Do you know if thats the right name.I actually have two like that. They are strange little points as they are pretty thick and mine really dont want to sit flat.

Morning,

Here is a couple of photos of my "birdies." Didnt have time to go through my frames and pull all, but I got a ton of these little gems. Its amazing you ever find them, and honestly I dont know why they even went to the trouble to make these....true arrowheads....I think that after hafting, a pointed stick would do more damage...lol

Here are three of my smallest dart points. They are just a hair bigger than a penny. I lucked out last year somehow finding them in a freshly plowed field.
