Found in middle Georgia,Putnam County, deeply beveled on opposite sides, not sure if base is snapped or broken off from a larger point.

My guess is that it is intact, and is a cutting / scraping tool. If it was part of a larger knife or point, it would seem to have been a really big one? Nice material, and looks like it is still sharp.

Looks like a big blade broke while being made and then they salvaged it for a scraping or cutting tool

I think it a section of a oval scraper. It would of had some real nice color to it if whole.

Well rite now they are clearing the fields and between that and work Im all tied up. Glad to hear you are finding some now, rock
