Well, here I am again with another question ~ I found this pottery Liberty Bell on the mud bank of a river here in California.... It reads :
Proclaim / Liberty / Pass and Stow / Philid / MDCCL111 . The bell has a hole drilled in the base and an offset hole at the top. The top part of the bell also has a hole for suspension. It appears to me to be a lamp ~ ok part of a lamp . It stands 6 3/4 " tall with a diameter of 6"......I'm hoping someone out there has seen this (lamp) ? Thanks in advance.

It can't be a lamp without a hole for the wire. Is there a hole?

Found just a little bit of information on this, if it might be the same.

A ceramic light that shines down on a ceramic book ... they were asking $300 - $500
