I guess it is correct that no place is ever really hunted-out. This was an unexpected bonus!! The travelling circus used to set up back there, I was told. That explains the 10 Indian heads and lack of larger value coins in that area. The kiddies did not have big money to spend i guess.

If others have indeed metal detected the place , they may well have cranked the disc. missing nickels .

Beautiful V- Nickels- the only Nickels I got recently is off the Beach- May 2013,
