I've been in the general area and found 'a' flake after some simple work along the highway right of way over the pass. The area is lovely, covered with all sorts of claims but indeed it is persistence in putting the coil over the target that counts and they have a great spot to work. Thank you for posting this great find....................63bkpkr

Took a couple of tours of Rob's mine (not where those fantastic nugs were found but just down the road a ways) last year. Fun experience for sure. I've found very little gold in Liberty area but that's just me as it's obviously there. Here's a couple of photos of Rob's place.
