Hi all. I hope your treasure hunting has yielded you exciting finds! I do not know where to turn to about these license plates that I bought. I have called people and sent them pictures but they make me offers and do not tell me if the plates have any real worth. Does anyone k ow if these plates have real value🤔

I don’t see anything old enough to have real value. A car collector may be interested. The Bear-shaped plate would be a dual interest piece. I’d guess around $5-$10 each with the right buyer. Possibly up to $20 on the Bear. Just my opinion, based on mild experience.

I'd easily pay $5 each for the bear plates if I saw them at a garage sale.

Welcome to Tnet. Those would make a great display in someone's man-cave.

That first plate is from Abu Dhabi:

There’s a strong market in the UAE for ‘low number’ or ‘lucky number’ plates and prices can be eye-wateringly high. It’s the right to use of the registration that commands the value, not the plate itself of course (except for plates that can be shown to have come from a Royal limo or something).

I don’t know if ‘0000’ was actually a valid number but, even if it was, I would think that one is just a novelty souvenir.

... plates have any real worth...
