thanks a bunch. :),can ya tell me what years they were made? Why i ask is because i also found a couple of old wagen parts,so im thinking someone hunted here before. ???

All Zippos will be inscribed on the bottom of the case.I don't know about the wagon wheel. :-\ The wheel hub is older than that lighter by far.

yes i know the hub is way older,i just thought it strange where i found the both of them together in the same spot,and was wondering the age of the lighter? :)

Question-Does that little ring look like it unscrews? I do have a collectors guide to cigarette lighters and there are a couple from the 20's that look similar,the ring thing actually unscrews to fill the bottom with fluid.

the shape its in i,m not sure if it screws uot or not,but the area i found it and the other stuff i found go back to the 1920- 1930s. :) THANK MUCH! ;D

Are the ends of the "lighter" intact, or is it hollow? If hollow, it looks like the the upper end of a sword scabbard to me.

That's my 2 wheats.
