Like small, quiet towns?

A local resident stepped out into the middle of the street
and snapped these images of downtown Concrete, Wa. at
10pm on a Friday night. Images were taken from each end
of town.

Peace, quiet and not a car in sight.




And yes, that is the entire downtown..

Looks like the town near me. They roll up the sidewalks about 8pm. Population 750. No crime. I love it. Gary

Pop. is 800 here, but unfortunately we do have some crime issues,
most all of which are related to the same meth and heroin problems
that exist in small, rural towns all over the country.

But, it is quiet..

That's bustling town (well not at 10pm) store wise. The I live in a hamlet might as well call it hermitviille has 30 homes, ?? for population, most are hermits.
Just after moving here a friend commented that (lived ion the hamlet for nearly 70 yrs) he asked the woman on the hill how everything was?
She comment: Good
How's the husband?
Oh he died a yr ago.............
