why is it so hard for people to push the like button?i see something cool that we all would love to find and there are 1000 views and 3 likes.

I was wondering if it was after the 3 likes the fourth like causes one of the names to disappear from being seen on the post. It will then say the first two names and two others. I don't push the like for a post anymore if I am the fourth like. At least that is how it appears on the app on my iPad. Just a thought.

Pushing like let's the person know that the community likes their opinion or things they find. Sometimes a person needs a like to remember that this hobby takes patience, even the little finds are cool.

VaNana, I do not know about iPad's, but I found that with the "likes", it will show lets say You, (3 other names) and 5 others like this post. If you click the (5 Others), it will show their names as well.

I don't believe those 1000 views are all members. Therefore the like button cannot be pressed.

I think folks here are pretty generous with their "likes". But not all topics interest everyone and lots of skimmers who take a quick glance at a lot of posts and then move on. I know I do it when I am short of time. Anyway, I usually post something when I like it or think it's interesting. If viewers don't agree enough to send me a like or make a comment, it doesn't bother me.

FYI. visitors have the ability to read threads and posts, but they cant post, comment or hit like button unless they registered.We have thousands of visitors a day.
