So today was a late day to show up at work for me, I take the family out of town for some recreational shopping And what not... Hey let's check out of town offer up. Lo and behold a random person selling a bag of costume jewelry.. What the heck my fiancé is crafty.. So I meet greet and purchase the bag.. The family goes to eat and the pretty lady insists we dig through said bag... We found some Sterling rings whic is a huge plus, then hey.. What is this tarnished ring crusted with white corrosion on the bottom of the tear drop.. I get nervous and smiley... We get out food to go.. I take ring to my local jewelry store whom naturally pays 50% we buy gold crap... Takes a look at the ring, steam cleans and then proceeds to offer me $400 cash on the spot for the ring !! BLAMO!!! 18K white gold with 33 point diamond Edwardian style .. Must be from the 20s!!!!!! ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1459832504.142935.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1459832536.911757.jpg

The guy steam cleaned the ring without asking me.. It's unfortunate as I couldn't even think of a reason for the darn before pictures beforehand.

Can I ask what you paid for the bag of jewelry?
GREAT score.

...I found a missing sock yesterday. Does that count?? :laughing9:

Very nice!

Did you return it or at least give her a little more cash? Could have been a family heirloom that was mistaking key put in with the costume stuff.

The listing was taken down and cannot find seller anymore... Needless to say... I proposed to my fiancé with this ring late last night!!!!!!!!!

Very pretty ring
