little men

these are some army men i found in the neighbors yard. they are a heavy cast metal but un sure as to what metal. anyone know of a year they maybe from? thanks alot

They look like WW2 era lead soldiers. My dad has afew that are practically unused, but not near that many. Very cool. May be a good spot to look for mercs and walkers.

This was something I found on eBay that may be helpful..

They are lead. I do not think they are WW II. The horses would be WW I. From the helmets I would say WW I, probably made in the 20s or 30s. I have a mould and back in the day, 50s, we would melt down wheel weights and cast soldiers. The mould made three at a time.

I agree that it looks more like WW1 than WW2.
Pretty old, probably a child buried his "dead" soldiers from his play "battles".

They look like WW1 American infantry, (I think). Prices vary widely based on type of metal and country. Most aren't worth alot, (around $4.00 each), but some are more rare than others. I think the most expensive ones I've seen are the bronze Australian ones that sell for anywhere from $60 to $120 in good condition.

Might want to check the completed listings on eBay, if nobody on here knows for certain.
