Tried to hit low tide today where I found one of the colonial buckles on Friday. Tide was not very low though:BangHead: nor were there many targets:BangHead: I did manage a few small roundballs, piece of shoe buckle chape and only my fourth ever early silver cufflink. Cant make heads or tails of the engraving on it. Possible the initials cHs

Looks like a nice old find you dug there.

Thanks. Not as nice as my other three but 18th century silver linked button nonetheless and same shape and size as a gold one I found last year

Thanks. The others all came from land. Thin old silver tends to get washed out after 250+ years in the water

That's awesome, congrats on a neat find

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Congratulations !! Nice !!

Very nice, great job!!

Gotta love colonial silver. A quick zap with low voltage electrolysis might bring out a little more detail. Or you could soak it in lemon juice.

congrats on the save, nice finds
