I believe the object in question is a Camp Fire Girls pin. The crossed logs with flames is a Camp Fire logo. Cannot be older than 1910, more likely 1920s-1930s, don't know why you would think 1700-1800s, the other items you show with it are not that old. The saw emblem is nickel plated, not silver plated. The Camp Fire piece is rather cool.

because most of what i find at this site is 1700 to 1860s

I agree with gunsil, most likely campfire girls pin, and I also agree on his timeframe
