Hi all about 1 mile up the road, there new housing estate being built.Nice of the digging equipment to do the work for me. ;D ;D ;D.far too much rubbish here to use any type of Md.After heavy rain over the last week helped also to wash a couple of keepers.Lots of bottles and pottery shards. Most of them are common ones not worth keeping.Did find a com medal and a old english token in bad shape.heres a few pics of finds and site

I would still use a metal detector on that site if you have access to one. If you eyeballed those nice finds, you'll probably clean up with a MD.
