Locals in gold mining field in need!

During my networking online I have get to know a local who owns some surface mines. Since they are in need I am trying to collect funds so they can start up their business that because of hard times got to a hault. The owner serve the locals and a workforce of 65 persons, they are dependent on the business to get a living since they do not have any alternatives.

I am trying to put togheter a consortium of likeminded trying to help. Togheter we can collect enough funds so they can start up work and get food on the table... the funds wil be used to selfhelp and thereby will make the community selfhelped. Also they are promising payback of the investment.

There is not any guarantees of success, but if we look at this as a venture and a treasure hunt the reward might outcompete the risk. Perhaps I also can convince the owner of sending us a small peace of gold nugget by post.

Onar, though you may be legit, the person you've gotten to know via the Internet may be an unscrupulous con man (or woman). Lots of questions to ponder! For example, since he's informed you that he was employing 65 people before having hard times, why haven't friends, relatives, local business owners, local investors or other LOCALS WHO KNOW THEM ALL come through with investment money to help them get started up again? If the people who know this guy won't invest, his project, if it exists, probably isn't substantial enough to support any of the workers or their boss! BE WARY! I'd never get involved with anyone over the Internet who wanted money. Even if I had dough to spare, which I don't, lol.

Awe, you guys, I was trying to find out what part of Somalia the mine is located, and now he'll probably never tell us. It is not scam, personally I am trying to help people in need to set up their own businesses by crowdfunding. As you may know people other places work real hard, but they need start up funds. This mine is in Africa owned by locals and give jobs to 65 locals. They are dippendt on the mine and need equipment, clothes to perform the manually labor they do. Its not ideal for them the manual hard work, but is their only option.

Didn't I say this is serious. I am a engineer from Norway. I have not promised anything in return, I just look for likeminded wanting do a difference. It can be as good as going on the local corner and hand out food...
