Located on old farm and the other near a CW Battlefield

The button (not sure if it is a button, no back and about a 1.5 inches diameter) was found MD on fathers old farm where an old house long gone was suspected and the bullet was found very near a CW battlefield in Kentucky. Not sure what the bullet is, it is my first bullet

Please post a picture of the back of the first item and base of your bullet. It would also help if you give measurements for the bullet. That being said it looks like a Gardner and it would be civil war era.

Not sure about the button thing but my guess it's just a fancy flat button. As for the bullet it definetely appears to be CW era.
