logging tool

Yesterday I went back to an area that I have found splitting wedges and horse shoes and I found a hook that looks like part of a log rolling tool .It appears to be hand forged but I can not find any markings on it .There is also a small bottle dump nearby with some things from the 1890's there

It's called a cant hook. Used for rolling logs
