Lone Star or Quick Draw II

Hi all, getting ready to buy my first metal Detector and I am looking at the Lone Star or the Quick Draw II. I would like a ACE 250, but I have a $100 gift card for Sears and they don't have them. So these are in my price range. I mostly will be using it to find Civil War items and coins, maybe once and a while may use it on the beach while on Vacation. So just looking for some opinions on these two.

i love my quick draw 2 gets great dpth i just sugest a pinpointer another person on tnet sugested getting a pin pointer and it is great

what s up, im new and i started with the quick draw 2 , first time out i found a bunch of penny's including 1 wheat and some clad . that just in my yard, the quick draw 2 gets my vote i use it in all metals mode until i learn the rest but im finding coins and having a blast . good luck and hh .

I have a BH lone star I really like it, matter fact I use it more than my whites M6. easy to use.. however I have been thinking about upgrading to a quick draw ll just because of the depth indicator.
