Lonely Silver but, She's A Good One

The kid and I hit our new permission again this evening with the owner using my AT Pro.
Hits were a little slower this evening and the kid stole the show this hunt finding an OD nickel, silver ring and a Rosie. The owner got himself another older Indian and I found a single silver dime, my second ever Seated dime. I thought I had a buffalo spill but it ended up being a buff, two older Jeffersons and a toasted wheat. I did find a sales tax token from the state of Washington and what looks like an old copper ring.
I will get pics from the kid tomorrow of his finds from this hunt and yesterday's hunt.

You sound disappointed it was " only " a single silver dime lol. Right now I'd take a single clad dime!

Wow ! I can't tell from the pic's if the ring is silver (has a ruddy look , copper ?) Also it looks to be Navajo made possibly 1930's -40's
probably made in Arizona or New Mexico . looks like a crumbled turquoise setting . The Seated is amazing !

Oh no, cloud 9 right now. Lol Couldn't believe another seated dime and this one is in pretty good shape too.

That ring does look old and definitely hand made, congrats on the silver!

If I found that little beauty I would be feeling good for at least a few days, very nice find! :notworthy:

Never really looked at the ring to close, just looks like an old junker. Looks like it's copper but, who makes rings out of copper?
Looked closer at it and it is stamped "solid copper".
I'll try and get a better pic and post tomorrow.

That seated will keep me happy and feeling good for more then a couple days. Lol

Sounds like you had a good hunt with your son and the owner. Everyone pulled a keeper or 2. I really like that seated:hello2:

Native Americans for sure. In Arizona, New Mexico there was an abundance of raw copper and it's associated minerals such as Turquoise, Malachite and Chrysocolla. So lots of their jewelry featured copper as they believed it to have healing properties as well.

awesome seated dime!, good job

Very nice seated.

Very well done DS. I have never found a seated coin, so that dime looks really good to me. Another nice hunt for you and the boy. Congrats and best of luck to you both.

Lay Lady Lay

Nice seated. I've only pulled three out this year so that puts my seated finds at 2.15% of my total silvers. That's pretty low so, in fact, I'm jealous of that sweetheart of a coin. Great shape, last year, nice score dude!

Played it for the kid to hear now he says he's got that song stuck in his head. Lol

Not very good pics at all but, here's another look at that copper ring.
