long dry spell ends with silver

Hi all,been away awhile.I haven't had much to post until today. I found my first silver trade item .--a real nice silver broach with pin still attached.I'm over the moon with joy.Thanks for looking.

Thanks guys. I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw it.I know finding one on the surface is rare indeed,all the ones I've ever seen in books were the results of arch. digs.-----I've also found two musket balls in the general area of this find. I look forward to checking this spot more frequently with this great historic stuff coming up. Unitas

Great find! Nice to still have the pin in place. I would have my metal detector out there so fast it would make your head swim. I'm guessing that there is more there!
