Evening everyone
Been a fairly quiet summer not to much posting. However yesterday went to a new permission 1938 home. Found a few silvers and relics then out comes this ring. Knew it was silver right away. Didnt realize how nice till I cleaned it though. Have seen some similar on line being called black onyx navajo sterling rings? Was wondering if anyone might recognize it or the markings
Just curious as to who made it and the approximate year . Thank you for any help

Nice ring.

Date? 1962-1984

The mark encircled by the word 'STERLING' above it is a conjoined letter P and letter J, partly obscured by the riveting. Despite lots of misinformation on the net about whose mark this is and the dates, I'm sure it's for the Pacific Jewelry Manufacturing Company who first registered that mark on 22nd October 1962.

Wow! That's a beauty! I would have guessed it was a current production just by how neat it looks. Really decent for 40-50 years old.
