Long time lurker...new member!

Hello all! I have been lurking here for more than 2 years now and figure I better step up or step out. lol! I recently retired from the Ocean City, Maryland area and returned to my roots in Somerset, PA. I have detected for many years but got serious about it probably 3 years ago. I love doing research and relic hunting but financing it all with some jewelry from the beach doesn't hurt too. I have been out a few times since moving back and, of course, it's like hunting in 2 different worlds. I just started some new research in the area and I'm looking forward to getting out. You all have helped me untold times over the past 2 years without even knowing it.....I truly hope I can return the favor!....Shawn
