Long way from home.

I found these today on a hunt at a local park. Nothing old. A new dollar coin. And I was kinda surprised to find a 1976 Australian here in Montana. Is that a 10 pence?

That dollar coin is a somewhat rare find. I've been searching 2 1/2 years and found 7000 clad coins and only 7 were dollar coins.

Yea I have found 2 of the new dollars so far. Always a pleasant surprise. I am also surprised by how fast they start to deteriorate in the ground.
