Look who showed up for dinner

Went to put out deer corn this evening and look who was coming in to feed! We call him the "Curly Buck". He was a 7 point last year and is an 8 point this year. He's still in the velvet. Feeding the deer is my favorite Fall/Winter hobby(after metal detecting of course!). We've taken thousands of pictures of whitetails and enjoy seeing the deer come back year after year to feed in our back yard.

Hey Charmin!! GREAT PICTURE and THANKS for sharing!! Gorgeous BUCK!! My son lives in Silver Springs, MD and he shot me a picture of two bucks eating grass in his front yard the other day! 10 Point and 8 Point!! They were just grazing on the front lawn!! GOOD HUNTING!! VERDE!!

Hi all. Here is who showed up for breakfast at my house. The ones Verde was talking about. I told my wife Go get my bow. Then she reminded me I'd probably get arrested in my neighborhood up here in maryland.

Well, when hunting season starts you won't have far to go, will you usndocgreen? Until then you'll just have to 'shoot' them with a camera. Good pictures!

Thanks XDSA40.....He's eating pretty good(whole corn, corn chops and creep feed). We've been experimenting in the last 5 year or so to see what they like the best. One year we fed them cattle cake---and you wouldn't believe how fat they got! LOL
They seem to like corn the best.

He is rather beautiful, isn't he fyrffytr1? I get a lot of peace going out in the back yard and watching them feed.
