Good day all,

I found this token today in a yard of an early 1900s house. I have found several coins and items to match that time period but I also know there was a livery stable here prior to that and it's across the street from an old tavern building that fates to before the civil war.

Anyways, I was hoping someone might shed some details on the pictured token and give me a rough time frame for it.

This was found near Jackson Mississippi if that helps.

Thanks for any assistance!

Location didn't help much; similar tokens appear all over the country in the early 20th C. I found several similar obverses via image search.

1900s Omaha trade token.

Reverse is different--advertising for issuing merchant.

Another from Tacoma (another different reverse).

I expect the number on your flipside is a sort of "serial number" to deter counterfeiting. Less expensive than an advertising slogan, etc.
