Looking for a East Coast State that has the least restriction on Beach Hunting?

Hey New Englanders,Caroliners or Virginians, looking to do some holiday at the beach hunting during the fall or spring for a week or two.Would like to know have any new laws or restrictions been placed on beach detecting in your area.Would like to go the one that doesn,t have too many people congregating at the beach all year long.Have seen and heard folks from here going to one of the states along the coast and come back with two fist full of gold and silver rings after a week or two of detecting the beaches.Just to let you know not trying to pry information on your favorite spot, I,ll do that work myself, just like to narrow it down to the best state with few or no restrictions.Here in Michigan, specially the East side is just CRAP!!!!!, still have 50-60 year old bobbi pins and pull tabs in the sand, plus besides all the iron garbage along our beaches, from Port Huron all the way down to Toledo, the sands are trucked in from garden centers not scooped out of the water like they do along the entire Atlantic east coast beaches.Any little help would be appreciated, thanks!!!!

I hunt NJ beaches and no trouble there.
My favorite is Island Beach State Park, permits are free and its an 11 mile beach.
If you want to find the rings, you need the planters....so after hours or off season at a bathing beach is the place to be.

Thanks Joel, hell 11 miles of beach thats plenty of room.Its probably like that all along the Atlantic coast line, here in Michigan the beaches are measured in yards or feet.
