My back up black pin pointer is acting crazy and the carrot has holes in it so while shipping those off in needed one to fill in. I decided on a cheap one ( 2 day Prime) figuring it would at least last two weeks or more and boy was I wrong. Didn't last one day piece of junk. Any advice on a good pp. I'm not to much of a Garrett fan with there's so I'm open to ideas. IMG_0780.webp this thing is a JOKE. One hour trip for nothing.

Be sure to let us know how you like it. Truth, is the TRX the one that only detects from the tip instead of from the whole length of the unit?

Yes it's only from the tip and I rather it that way. I absolutely love it. One button easy to use and pin points on the money. My #1 pinpointer!!

The fact it will ground balance is the main reason I love it!

Try the Deteknix Xpointer Pro. I have one and it is awesome. Check out the Youtube comparisons, better distance and a lot of different set up options. It can alert you by tone, vibration or light. Or a combination of the three. It has an LED if the hole is dark and it's waterproof to 200 feet. After using it, just spray it off with the hose. Had mine for a few months and love it.

I love my TRX. You will too.

No love for Makro PP? I have the Garrett carrot and a Makro. Makro Every time. Easier to use, and I love it set on the lowest sensitivity. Find the coin using the whole shaft, then stand it up to place the tip on the coin.

Nice - Now all you need to do is find 600 quarters with it and it is all paid for !

Or, just one quarter having the right credentials.:laughing7:

Thats the spirit - A 1933 D upside down Georgie, get a pallet of pinpointers !

Spinal spasms??---No just a bad case of TRX fever.

I would have paid $200 just to be the cool detectorist with the lime green pin pointer. I got a DEAL!! Lol

If you detect long enough, you will! I've found a lot more than that over the years. :icon_thumright:
