I'm just south of the Lehigh Valley. I'm a novice myself having dabbeled in the hobby back in the 70's & early 80's when I had a vintage Garrett BFO (Beat Frequency Oscillator) detector. Haven't had much luck but did find my first silver a 1920 walking liberty half dollar this year after getting out only a few times a year in the past 5- 6 years since I've been hunting again.
