In Warren K. Tice's Button book it looks like it could be made after the Civil war but not for sure.

The backmark is Scovills, ring of dots, 2 stars. Heres some info on Scovills backmarks but Im not sure how accurate it is. Vayank will know. I think 1860-1880.
