Looking for club in Raleigh, NC

I live in the Raleigh, NC and I am wondering if there are any active clubs in the area. I am new to this, and would like some help on areas that would be good to do some detecting that would not be illegal. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm interested, I'm in South Durham...about 10 minutes from the Streets of South Pointe Mall. I'll be buying my first detector this week and tools... can't wait. I detected when I was 10 years old.... 34 years ago but not since I was 10. What a choice in detectors they have out there now.

I'd like to join the group, too. I live in the North Raleigh area.
I use to do a fair amount of detecting in the 80s but haven't done much lately. My detector needs repair and I'll probably send it to Texas within the next week.

There is a club in Raleigh - Triangle Relic Recovery. They meet at the
Ridge Road Baptist Church on the 4 Monday of each month. I believe
they still start at 7:00 pm.

Check them out. Good bunch of people.

Im an hour away in g-vegas
