I read: one needs a battery cover and new 9 volt plug-in (which you twist & Tape). Check it out. (I don't work for ebay), but I bought my newest MD upgrade, a Whites GMT Goldemaster for 500.00 W/Free Shipping. The best part it's a "Rare" factory made Chest mount, the electronics/box have a belt clip or you can strap around your neck and just swing the "Wand Only!" I am pleased and can't wait for the weather gets warmer. By the way the one who buys the 2 V/Sat's, You can take your lady MD hunting or fix one & sell one! Interesting GT. I smiled at your detector as that is the way to do it, chest mount - as long as you've straps on the bottom as well as the top. If you only have straps on the top then when you lean over the unit comes up and slaps you in the face, I don't like that. Good of you to share..................63bkpkr

The Chest Mount has 3 ways to wear it. 1. You can loop the strap around your neck and you just swing the coil with the Alum wand. 2. You can put the strap across the chest. (That is my Fav because you can put it on the left side while you swing on the right side. 3. The box has a metal belt clip where you clip it to your belt. (But I do not want to knock my "baby" off my belt due to moving around alot walking the creek rocks and boulders.) The main Point is the strap is adjustable so you can control how low of high you wish to mount the "box". I find I'm not arm tired after hitting many targets and it is not hard on my back like many have complaned here on Tnet. Another thing when cross mount I can read the system very good and can adjust the control box right there. I hope you see the advantage, On my oppinion, at least it works great for me.
