Looking for help excavating at an old Plantation in charleston SC

I have been metal Detecting at an old Rice Plantation and have noticed hundreds of pieces of very beautiful pottery all over the ground. I would really appreciate it if anyone would could give me advice on where to start my excavation or even be willing to go out and dig with me, The plantation is in North Charleston SC so if you are local and want to go shoot me a message.

I'm in SC too. I always travel to charleston because digging is awesome there. Id make the trip to go.
