Hello everybody...i'm looking for an explanation of the text(if you can read it!)that i've posted,although an old book(World War2 Military currency/Schwan&Boling 1978)i'd still like to know...i'm assuming that the highest serial# to date was F00180801 AS IDICATED IN BOOK,And the authors are interested in higher #'s for a survey they were(are?)doing,am i corect in my assumsion??
My bill has the serial #F36976436,Thanks everybody!!!

That was basicly my question on the note,or indicated as example(the star/asterisk)of the highest they have seen at that point...no other bills have a star on them next to serial#what ya think?

Could very well be...my bill has alothigher of a serial#then ones pictured&recorded,thanks for input!!!
 

I'm with JG, by reading it they're looking for replacement bills.
however, you could send them a photocopy of your bill and ask them
 

those are some cool dollar bills that you found
and that might worth alot of money some day but those are some keepers
so you might want to keep those so those are some nice finds. :thumbsup:
