Looking for ID help please

My friends found this bottle while scuba diving in cape cod bay. There aren't any markings on it. Does anyone know when it's from or what would have been in it?

Looks like you have an old gin bottle, most likely late 1800's to early 1900's. Try cleaning it up with soap and warm water, it would make a nice display piece.
