looking for places to hunt

I am having problems finding places to go. I live in north central Iowa and most of the land is flat and boring. Can somebody give me some ideas?

High flat spots or second terrace / shelf tiers above a creek / river.

Always start by googling the nearest river or creek and use the word artifacts. Will give you some history. Lots of beautiful stuff in Iowa. Good luck and hope this helps a little.
