Looking for some help......

We're headed to Myrtle Creek, Oregon for the month of July this year to escape the heat and do a little prospecting.
I was looking at a club calling themselves Republic Mining. Seems they have some claims in the area that we may be interested in working.
I can't seem to get a response from the email on the web page or an ad they run on ebay for a membership drive.
I was able to get one response back in March on the ebay format but seems to have gone cold since.
Looks interesting for the 2 us but I really would like to speak with someone before I plop down some cash to join.
Just trying to find out how legit they maybe?
Any members here?
