Looking in San Diego / La Jolla area

I am going to La Jolla with my family in late December and am looking for a good place in that area to find indian artifacts. Any suggestions? (I am also looking for good places to fossil hunt. and rock hunting but will be posting this in the other forums). Thank you,

San Diego, man the days miss that place.Mission bay area lived there 4 6months. cant help ya on places to hunt.
