Looking out my back door

A couple of pics out the back door. Our yard was cut out of a hill, so hubby says that we arent going to metal detect any thing here. I have proved him wrong with matchbox cars and nails..lol You can see my pitiful garden to the left. Our corn got beat to death when it FINALLY rained. We have plenty of yellow squash though!

Nothing wrong with yellow squash...freezes pretty good. I had to move my garden to pots on my deck cause critters kept eating it up; but no corn

The Hail & rain can cause problems,
I had to plant my garden in buckets this year,
had a new location, & dug down about four inches,
it was solid rock slabs, but I have watermelons as
big as softballs, & still growing.
