Well one thing I learned from the suckfest that is American Digger is that old wrenches are priceless artifacts. Imagine how happy I was to remember that I too had dug a big wrench once. I finally figured out where I put it, and seeing as it's so much bigger than the one they found I just know it's got to be worth a fortune!

This wrench is a relic from the heyday of tightening and loosening things, from a time when men were men, and wrenches ruled the earth! Well guys, I'm off to the pawn shop, where I just know they will offer me at least ten times what it's worth!

i mean creasant wrench, not pipe wrench ,,, i ifound a 8 in last week says made in usa

The value and rarity depends on many factors.
Is it a right-handed crescent wrench, or the rarer left handed version.
Also, sadly the value will also depend on the region of the country that the user was originally from.
The Irish crescent wrench users can be worth a little more, Scandinavian, not as much.
You might want to see if that idiotic show will buy it from you, if only to replant and rediscover!

Nice pipe wrench !!

The picture shown in the first post is not a crescent wrench.

THIS
is a Crescent wrench, pictured below :

I think Crescent brand did make a pipe wrench though, but typically, a pipe wrench is
this:

.. just like the one in the original post.

Good luck with the sale. LMK how it goes, I have several pipe wrenchs to sell too .. made in USA and Japan !

Thank you caveman. I have no idea why they are talking about creasant or croissant wrenches lol. The OPs wrench is clearly a pipe wrench. I think he may be saying he found 8 crescent wrenches and is wondering the value.

and they say white's detector aren't any good baa hum bug..

All joking aside, it is still a very good find for a tool so large and cleaned up it still may work.:award_star_bronze_3

A large pipe wrench is expensive to buy but I cant see these tools having much antique value. Croissant wrenches have even less.

My best wrench, AD eat your heart out!

This is my idea of a real wrench! Was a real sweet find too! Was found with a Tesoro, my latest detector pictured for scale. H.H. CARM

I actually do have a big crescent wrench laying around here somewhere, but I can't find it at the moment. But I think I'm probably more likely to find a cache in an air cleaner under a concrete slab than to get rich off of second hand wrenches. Maybe next time I head out I'll see if my boss will let me borrow his bobcat........

Be sure to update us on how many additional thousands you make in the few days that follow the wrench sale. We don't need to know the story, or be told what it was, just the number is good. (over $10,000 would be impressive)

Actually, the croissant wrench is fairly rare. Since they were so tasty, a fully intact one brings in some serious dough...

This made me genuinely laugh out loud. Nice post.

Cool get a good price and I will ship you an unlimited supply to pawn
