I'm watching it, too! Small world...I work at the TIA fire station!

I'm at the airport, did Roy retire?

Yes, I saw that in your profile...I looked at it because I saw your photo in Meyer's. We had a Ray retire recently, don't know about a Roy.

ROY RIVEIRO, I think he would sub maybe at the airport every now and then. But he was a TPA fireman and would visit the tower every now and then.

Yes...I was only thinking about the assigned ARFF guys. Sorry to detract from the subject of your thread (storm watch)!

Good luck with the storm, hope people are safe and find much Gold!!!

10 to 11 ft waves expected here today..... its going to drag a lot of stuff around coming out of the south. Just made a visit to the beach. Looks like more is coming in right now based on the turdle nests. Waves are barely out of the SW and the wind is blowing them high on the beach..... but that sand bar in the water is making them short break..... they are cupping at the beach which is what we need. There just werent any serious cuts YET. Maybe the longshore dirft will change that if the rip tides get moving.... but not right now.

Here's to hoping Debbie rips the doors straight off the vault :occasion14: soon as the waves subside, I'll be out there.

Hey, Debbie is sitting on the couch next to me. Debby is churning up the Gulf waters !! :flag_purple:

Just looked at Clearwater and Siesta cams...BIG surf...some sand has to be getting moved around.

I'm going to check out low tide at 10 unless the weather gets ridiculous.

Looks like Bradenton Beach will have no sand left on shore. I hope it doesn't cover the stuff in the water.

Good luck to all of you in FL,get out there and get some gold, the big round kind with the X on it.:blackbeard:
