Hey Gang,
I am searching for any info on the Lost Lee Ledge. Basic story is that a miner named Lee had a mine he called the Pencil Lead mine ( but this was silver ), and lost it to a man named Waterman ( who later became Governor of California ). His second mine ( gold ) was supposedly near Old Woman Springs, where his buckboard and burros were found after he was killed. If anyone has been running this down I would like to talk to you. You can send me a message with your email and I will contact you, all info is confidential if you like. I have read that Howard D Clark said the mine was found and worked in the early 1960's.
Thx
PLL
