I am writing this and hoping to get any help or feedback. A pirate ship went down at the mouth of the San Bernard River. It is said that a 10,000,000.00 treasure was brought ashore and buried. Any information would be helpful. Thanx.

I think there was something on the discussion forum or in the previous posts at www.sanbernardriver.com. Jean Lafitte maybe? The mouth was actually dredged recently because it had silted completely up causing the San Bernard to flow down the Intracoastal into the Brazos. The corp of engineers had to do some soundings before the dig. They apparently got a "hit" off something that could have been significant so they moved the new mouth slightly over. Thoughts were at the time that it was an old ship. You can find pictures of the dredge site on there too. Good luck.
