older silver...
different spot today
water was not calm as I would have liked - viz was horrible
could only see the white wing nut on my coil support - with my mask on
I mention this because if conditions were better - I would have done even better
lot of silt in the water and current was pushing me off targets now and then
first coin was stand lib quarter - so that made me feel good
lot of the other silver was down foot - foot and a half
silver ring was way down - barely gave a signal - fanned bunch of sand to make sure I even had a reading
rechecked and got a whisper - was hoping I had a gold when I look in scoop thru the cloud of sand and silt
and saw ring
marked sterling - so its an older one - relig. medal was a "big" surprise - its huge and also an older
one - marked sterling also
2 sil. quarters
8 sil.dimes (5 mercs - 3 sil.roos.)
buffalo nickel
sterling ring
sterling medal

some of that silver is over a foot down - lot of faint faint signals - gold being heavier - could be real deep here
i'll keep trying - its a small spot and been hammered by many - I'm actually just trying to get what other missed - think ive gotten about 15 "old"
gold here over last few yrs

That was one heck of a bunch of silver. But it never ceases to amaze me how that salt water treats nickles. Those come up like they were just dropped.

You're killing it! Love that dirty silver :laughing7: super finds:thumbsup:

Great job. It beats the heck out of my morning finds...a traffic jam going to work...Brad

Nice haul Mr Casper! Those are not as crusty as I have seen you dig before... And looks like they are in a little better shape.. Like the SLQ!

Thats a lot of silver in 1 morning!

Can you explain what you mean by older with the Sterling mark?

It looks like you had a great hunt.

Nice day splashing in the water

Nice haul Casper, to bad about the condition, but still damn good finds...

You Killed it!

Hats off to you for those efforts, I'm so glad to see you came out with some sweet old silver. Stay safe!

some here come out kinda clean (usually ones in with rocks)- some are caked (ones in grey sand)- lot of these had loose crust and with a few swipes of thumb broke off - huge religious medal was caked and a few rubs came off
