well my boyfriend is a waterman, so he knows the rivers and beaches like the back of his hand.
i collect drift wood for my garden. then we started to pick up fossils. around here no one really cares about them cause their are everywhere . i have a larger garden bed lined with white fossilised correl for the border and a few in my house , we also have clams that filled with mud then fossilised the outer shell is gone but it looks like a solid clam. also have clam shells that are about 5-6 inches across they fossilised dark grey very pretty.
i think everyone around here is crazy for not realizing whats around. most of it was found at a very busy public landing.
